Credit: This course has been approved for 3 credit hours of ethics continuing education credit for New Mexico psychologists. The New Mexico Counseling and Therapy Practice Board and the New Mexico Social Work Board currently accept continuing education credits that are approved for New Mexico psychologists. These courses have not been approved for use in other states.
Summary:   This document was approved as policy by the American Psychological Association and the Council of Representatives in August 2002. This document was drafted by a joint Task Force of APA Divisions 14 and 45. This course comprehensively reviews the various researched areas that address what it means to be competent to work with racially/ethnically diverse populations. The course also provides guidelines for all psychologists who work with diverse populations.
